Every two years, the BBGG host a BBGG-ACARP Meeting in collaboration with ACARP to allow the industry to keep up to date with new & current ACARP project research.  The agenda aims to cover a range of topics, including:

• Coal geology;
• Coal quality;
• Coal preparation;
• Coal utilisation;
• Geotechnical;
• Geophysics;
• Gas;
• Underground & open cut mining; and
• Environment.

Registration is free via the BBGG website for attendees and presenters.

During the event, the BBGG also host the Leichhardt Award Dinner, where the Leichhardt Award is presented to the nominated recipient. Attendance for the Leichhardt Award Dinner is also free.
